Antonio's - Simsbury CT
Tom and Estelle were married in 1959...They started Antonio's Restaurant in June of 1964 at 1390 Hopmeadow Street in Simsbury, CT. They had a baby boy named Steven in November of 1963. In 1974, Antonio's Restaurant moved to a new building at 1185 Hopmeadow Street. Tom and Estelle retired to Tarpon Springs, FL in 1993 and Steven took over the family business!
Friendly, friendly, friendly. Guests at Antonios are greeted by their first name. Antonio's has been welcoming locals since 1964. A collector and dealer, the owner of Antonio's has been using his finds as the restaurant decor. It is a family restaurant with an extensive kid menu. Its Italian-American fare includes sandwiches, pizza's, calzones, grinders, a variety of dinner entrees, desserts and appetizers. Antonio's is a staunch supporter of local kids organizations and food banks. Its passion is "to serve good food at a good price with cordial service."
