What Are People Saying About Lena's?
Lena's pizza is # 1.
I literally grew up on the stuffed meat slice, I am glad it is still the same!! So if you are tired of the west Hartford hype come down to Lena's for a great experience!
Like the local PAPER says:
It is the Best in town .. Everything is good there and the bar next door is also really FUN when they have a Good band . All the food at Lena's is awesome and it's been there for years and a great family owns it.. My husband went to school at HART and took me there on my first trip to CT.. been going ever since.. Cannot stop in Hartford with out going to LENA'S...
Just moved to the area and was looking for some good take-out the night we moved in. A friend suggested Lena's so we have it a try.
FIVE STARS!!!
I ordered the Eggplant Magdalene (fried eggplant with fresh mozzarella, spinach, and tomato sauce) and it was deeeeelicious! It's an appetizer, but I ate it as my entree and was very satisfied. My fiancée had the buffalo wings, which he said were good but nothing to write home about
A couple of days later we were still unpacking so once again I didn't feel like cooking. Lena's to the rescue! This time I ordered a create your own pizza with shrimp, artichoke, spinach & red sauce. Once again deeelicious! Lots of shrimp and for a small it fed both me and my fiancée with a couple of slices left over. It cost $18.95 which I thought was expensive for a small, but for the amount of shrimp we got & the size of the slices I say it was well worth it!
